fragile & useless - lcr.i/group/2019–2022

After lcr.i/2069/2015-2019, an iterative performance-meditation on isolation, digitization, and the image, Simon Portigal will present his first evening-length group creation. In collaboration with five Montreal-based performers, fragile & useless - lcr.i/group/2019-2022 experiments with choreography as a vulgarized social algorithm. Through gamified practices of role-play, exchange, and interdependence, fragile & useless - lcr.i/group/2019-2022 sensually reifies collective technologies by the action of dancing together.  Presented in partnership with MAI.
