Le chant du silence
Michel Faubert presents his new solo show, Le chant du silence. A wonderful opportunity to dive into the world of this creator, storyteller, singer and director, member of the group Les Charbonniers de l'enfer. Le chant du silence is an intimate exploration of Michel Faubert's songbook.
Born in Choisy (Montérégie) in 1959, Michel Faubert is an author, singer, storyteller and director involved in the artistic enhancement of the unknown heritage, both Quebec and Acadian. Known for his collections and his contemporary adaptations of legendary laments and wonderful tales, he navigates as much in the world of folklore as in the Montreal underground scenery. Founding member of CHARBONNIERS DE L'ENFER, he has also been adventures: DOUZE HOMMES RAPAILLÉS CHANTENT GASTON MIRON and CORPS AMOUR ET ANARCHIE (PPS Danse) around the repertoire of Léo Ferré. He has seven albums and two books to his credit, including an anthology entitled CONTES, published by Planète Rebelle. He is finishing the writing of a play LE CHÂTEAU, mixing oral tradition, drama and science fiction.
