La Chapelle Scènes Contemporaines furthers its bilingual venue mandate and goes beyond the programming of both francophone and anglophone creations. In addition to presenting works in many languages, La Chapelle will present some shows with French or English surtitles, or with alternating surtitles in both languages.

This new way of democratising our programming is meant to reach as many as possible; Anglophones, Francophones, Allophones, school groups, curious new comers, people learning a new language, people who are deaf or hard hearing, etc.

For the second year running, the surtitle program is supported by the Cole Foundation.
